Yup, I loved every song selection (including my favorite “Static-X” Skinnyman) and they melded well with the game. It is amazing, even for today’s standards. Just because the graphics aren’t the best, this game should not be glossed over and said it is good, for old games. It looked amazing and goddamn, I want a complete duplicate of everyone of the Blacklist drivers’ rides in real life. Even with the old graphics, I still loved staring at my car and felt proud to drive it. But what do you expect? I am shocked however, at how much I was left staring at the cars I encountered. Let’s be serious, compared to nowadays standards, it is complete crap. Which, is kind of stupid to talk crap about, but I want a challenging game from the get-go, not to see me try hard and given a freebie when I reach the finish line and see my opponent just brake right in front of it to let me pull away for the easy win. Except the AI will help you numerous times. There are no glaring issues with the gameplay though, either. Not really realistic to me, but neither is the damage on my vehicles when I plow into 20 different police cruisers. I will go around turns so gracefully that I do not have to stop. The racing is good, but I feel there is a driving assist that I cannot turn off (or its somewhere, but I cannot find it). I was left happy as I created many different looking vehicles. The customization is lacking, but still amazing. When I was young I put many hours into beating the Blacklist and attaining the best rides, suiting and stacking my vehicles to my needs and tastes. Even now I tried to play it again and I’m hooked. This game is fantastic, I cannot say how much I’ve played this game. Music and Sound FX- Does the music fit the game, and do the sound effect contribute to the overall product?

Graphics- Basically, I’ll say if it contributes to the game or if you cannot play it because of the graphics? Gameplay and Performance- Does the game handle well? Are there things that make it a broken game? Annoyances and other things that leave the game, lacking. Not a big racer, but I’ve played my fair share of them. Fighting for a chance at each of them, you must prove yourself in certain races, having a set number of bounty on your head, and making sure you have performed specific milestones while outrunning the local 5-0 Now you’re on the hunt for blood and must face Rockport’s list of the 15 Most Wanted. Too bad, you are caught and sent to jail, facing short time since the fuzz cannot convict you of illegal street racing…when you have no car. Not only do you lose the race, you give up a pretty fucking nice BMW. You’re put in the shoes of a bonafide street racer who is doing quite well in the city’s underground circuit, until Razor (another racer, who is looking to take the city) sets his sights on you and sabotages a race between you and him. Released in 2005 and developed by EA Black Box (developers of the Skate series) this game sets place in Rockport City.
